This project was inspired by the raiding of my mother’s closet. I had found her shoes and clothes that she still has from when her first job in Mexico as a secretary. She loved getting dressed for work. During this time her dressing up for work was a nice escape for some of the hard parts of being a young single mother. I remember the clothes gave her a sense of dignity. I created a story based on a pair of her shoes that I had found. She loved this pair of shoes as was evident in the patched over heels.

In this series, I go into the mind of 1950’s American housewife who sometimes daydreams of being a part of the man’s word but sometimes she enjoys her isolation and gets lost in the world of the interior home and the interior of her thoughts.

A collection of five short films inspired by the filming locations of Nicolas Roeg’s 1976 film “The Man Who Fell to Earth”.

Collaborative projects with the Artist Nina Tanis. The projects which included mixed media, photographs, collage, video and site specific installations.

Curated exhibition which included work of people from my community that were not practicing artist, but never the less were full of creativity and ingenuity.

Muchas veces me simpatizan más los carpinteros, zapateros, etc., que toda esa manada de estúpidos dizque civilizados, habladores, llamados ‘gente culta’.

I often have more sympathy for carpenters, shoemakers, etc., than that whole flock of stupid so-called talkers they call 'cultivated people.
